Very true! I can't control what 'they' do -- I WILL BE IN TIGER STADIUM!

I will fight the traffic, find that elusive parking spot, purchase over-priced concessions and wait in line in the restroom just so I can be in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday afternoon and scream 'KICK THEIR arse'! And I will be damn proud that I have the privilege to do so!

For those who choose not to go - so be it! But I don't want to hear any bitching or whining that Tiger Stadium was not full! Suck it up - get off your couch - support our LSU TIGERS! They show up to play; the least we can do is show up and support them!!

The crowd very well could determine who wins the game. Our D especially could use the boost.
I'll be there!

LSU fans haven't shown up for a game all year, imo. It is time to prove that Tiger Stadium isn't just hype.

Why would this game be any different in terms of fan perspective? If the weather is absolutely perfect, you might have a good crowd. If not, the fans will find some reason to stay away.

After watching the game this past Saturday, I decided that I'm done with LSU football for the year. I sold my tickets to a buddy. He is an Aggie and his wife is a Tiger. Several of my coworkers who are Aggies said they bought tickets from LSU fans, so I expect a fair amount of maroon in the LSU sections.

1. Show up to gamedays, and football games, and be LOUD! The TAMU game is huge and there will be a ton of VERY high profile recruits. Let them know you know who they are and we want them at LSU. Be loud and supportive. Recruits love this.

Additionally, all you fair weather fans who are so disgusted with the team's performance please post your tickets on the Ticket Exchange at or below cost, or simply for free…seeing how you're so disgusted and don't' care it shouldn't matter to you what you sell them for or if you just give them away.

Or just find some LSU fans you know who actually want to go to the game and give them the tickets.

I dare say you won't be missed. Thank you and have a GREAT day!

This is the biggest visitor weekend by far for LSU this year and it is the most important recruiting class in the Les Miles era. We need fans to show up and get rowdy.

For what? So Miles can make more money and continue to shite the bed?

No thanks. They take enough money from us by increasing ticket prices, charging for parking, etc. What's next? Charging for tailgating spots?

The thing is, the people that used to support LSU and go to ALL the home games and stay the entire game can't afford to go to every one anymore. Now it is left up to the people who have money and THEY COULD CARE LESS IF ANYONE IS SCREAMING THEIR arse OFF INSIDE THE STADIUM or not.

I donate but those donations are being used to add more seats that will be empty and to overpay for a mediocre coach. Sad but true

Give em an extra million a year, and he'll guarantee 10+ wins a year!

3. LSU AD grows some balls and schedules more night games, other than South Texas Handicapped Children who also Read Good University games.

Nope. I've just decided that I'd rather spend my weekends doing something else from now on. I live out of state and I'd rather not make the 16 hour round trip to watch Miles shite the bed against A&M.

So you won't support your team for the rest of the season because they have had a disappointing season so far and you have no faith that they can pull out the victory on Saturday. You're right you don't sound like a bandwagon fan at all. Not going to a game because you live 16 hours away doesn't make you a bandwagon fan, it's your "giving up on football this year" as you put it. On a side note if you do make that drive on a regular basis each year I commend you for that.

well said...and a breath of fresh air.

it's a three game season....let's win them all. quit the bitchn', get positive, support the program because, as the op said, it really does matter to the team and recruits. the playoffs begin next season....let's be a part of history.
