transfering contacts from iphone to android..best way?

My wife has a couple hundred.

i did it once before using 'transcopycontacts' or something like that which worked pretty well but they have this funky system where they only do the first 50 for free unless you game the little app.

is there an easier way to do this?

thanks apple.

thanks obama.

Throw them into you gmail account and then boom on android. The only problem I had was google liked to duplicated or triplicate the contacts.

I just had mine moved from BB to android but it was synched through my work server (outlook). hypothetically if I ever switched jobs would those contacts remain on my phone?

when i bought my S4, it said you could log into samsung's site and basically transfer your last iphone back up directly to the S4. Not sure which phone you have though

You didn't mention what type of Android phone you're switching to. I made the switch from an iPhone to Galaxy S4 and transferred everything using Samsung Smart Switch.
Pretty easy to do.

I recently did this. I went to the icloud, and exported the contacts. And then I imported it in to google/gmail, which subsequently made them appear on my phone.google also have an option to search for duplicates of contacts, which I used.

its that easy?

i did the 'backup to cloud' option on her phone about a month ago. didn't realize there was an 'export contacts' option on that.

eta going to a nexus 4 (or maybe 5 if i can sell the n4)

Samsung Galaxy Note 3. the switch is complete (done through my exchange server at work)...my question is if I ever switched companies and left that exchange server would the contacts stay on my phone?

If you back up the phone with the contacts on it, I don't see why they wouldn't stay.
