pretty sure its not a high fence and definitely not a Blackhawk deer.

what made me wonder is the fact that you dont see bucks that big and have that much of a typical frame unless they have been specifically bred that way in a somewhat controlled environment. At least not here in La

Some of our posters haven't seen some of the deer killed around the TRNWR, huh. Also, try Diamond Island, Davis Island, most of the areas up and down the River.
Not a fan of fences myself, but there ARE deer like that in La. outside of fences.

P.s. Is that the McMurray Buck?

parden my ignorance, but what's with all the hate for hunting high fence properties?
i've never hunted for deer so i don't know all the ins and outs of it

is it kind of like the stocked farm pond of deer hunting?
