I've only seen 8 Mile, but I thought it was really well done considering what I expected.

It's really a solid flick honestly

This.

Although that Rap battle at the end of 8mile is still epic.

8 Mile was good the first time I saw it but has grown silly over repeat viewings.

Honestly, does anyone take rap battling that serious?

8 mile: I generally dislike rap music but found myself pulling for Eminem.

The rap battle is the only part I re-watch of 8 mile. It was a good movie, but mostly a one time watch.

H&F is a better overall movie IMO.
