Tim will be a good player but right now the team is better all around with Hickey running the show

Just because quarterman starts doesnt mean he is better than hickey. No matter who starts, hickey will play 30+ min a game

This is one game...

I went to the exhibition and even though he didn't score, Tim ran the PG spot very well. But I will say that when he tries to create offense, he kinda blows it.

In the end, I do think Hickey should start and play more than Tim, but I think Tim could be a very good player when he gets a little seasoned.

I thought he was just trying to do too much. He will be fine when he settles down a little. But I agree that Hickey is our best pg

How many minutes did each play?
My guess is Hickey got more minutes and that's even with TQ playing on the court with Hickey some.

It's not about who starts, it's all about matchups. Both will play more than enough.

The problem is that our best PG and our best SG are both under 5'10". Johnny obviously tries to avoid having them both on the floor at the same time to avoid potential mismatches. I think the only reason Q'man has gotten the starts is bc Andre Stringer is the best shooter on the team by a wide margin and he has to be out there. The bright side is that there is little to no drop off with either combo of Hickey/Morgan or Q'man/Stringer. It's a gonna be a fun year.

I've heard TQ is starting over Hickey for disciplinary reasons.

Tim will get better, but I said this the other day on the "Quarterman over Hickey" thread. Hickey is the QB of the team both offensively and defensively. He brings energy and pushes the ball as good as anyone, so he'll be out 1. If they want length, they'll have to start Morgan at the 2 and bring Stringer off the bench instead of starting Q and Stringer, and having Hickey come off the bench. Q just looks slow and he can't shoot at all. He'll get there, but now isn't the time.

I've yet to see anything of substance saying this. I saw where troll-king Matthew Harris tweeted that he had "a feeling" that this was the case and that's all.

If you're referring to the disciplinary reasons, I'm with you. Haven't heard anything about that.

And the coaches deny this every time they're asked.

Love confirmed it on Mascona earlier today. It's disciplinary.

Well, he hasn't said anything firm in any of his paysite posts, nor has any of the coaches said when asked.
