Will he be like a Josh Reed or a Odell B type player.?? Seem like I remember josh reed always found a way to get open.

I would love for him to be Josh Reed 2.0
Reed always found a way to get open and had great hands. If TQ has route running skills, hands and the ability to get open anywhere close to the level of a J. Reed, look out. Trey is definitely faster and everyone says that his route running is top notch. One can't have as much career receiving yards as he does without at least having decent hands. Ready to get these young cats on campus.

He'll get a lot of single coverages with Dupre and Noil out there as well.

X - Dupre
Y - Quinn
Z (Slot) - Noil

Then you can use guys like Dural and Leslie as #4 WRs.

First of all, there are still some really good WR's there in Diarse, Dural, etc.

Secondly, how often have you seen LSU use more than 2 receivers in a formation? 90-95% of the time they are in a "one by one" formation with a WR to each side, and a fullback and tight end. I think it is no secret that LSU likes the 6'3" to 6'4" guys at the "X" receiver, so that basically leaves a handful of other guys competing for one WR spot.

It will be interesting.

I like Leslie/Dural and Dupre/Diarse wide with Quinn in one slot and Noil in the other. 4 wide with LF as the lone back. Spread em out and have a field day!

ETA: Only reason to have Quinn in the slot is to get Dupre/Diarse on the field. Not trying to play the Wes Welker comparison card haha

Sorry, but Dural, Leslie, and Diarse all probably play more than Quinn. Or at least majority of the year. Would love to see
X- Dural, Leslie
Y- Dupre, Quinn
Z- Noil, Diarse
TE- Smith (if he can learn how to get off press coverage )

I just don't see Leslie doing much next year. I think Quinn and Dupree are already better imo

Leslie seems to be squarely in the 'bust' category.

I think we still have a shot at Quille.

Quille
Speedy
Dupre
Quinn

wouldn't be a bad haul at all. and I believe Dural will develop a lot by next season. So to answer the question, its tough to say. lol

If we get Quille, I think he is immediate #1 WR, assuming neither ODB or Landry return of course.

Yeah, me too. That would be a game changer for sure and everyone else would be fighting for the #2 WR spot.

Fred Belitnekopf hands with Roger Carr speed, Steve Largent Intelligence and Route running. If you're too young to know who these guys are, look em up. *Bonus* if you find film of Carr, you'll see LSU's greatest QB ever throwing to him...
He'll get open wherever they line him up.

I really see him doing the exact same thing a Landry. Just more than on year with a good QB.
