Has Les Miles :

A. Improved the program
B. Maintained the program
C. Diminished the quality of the program?

From the time he took over till now.

Granted he inherited a top 3 program and improving it would be difficult to do. I think when you look at his tenure in this light it's a little easier to understand why people are unhappy with him. C is the only correct answer here. You can throw the wins and all the other numbers at me but the bottom line is this program is not a top 5 program or even close. Miles has lost his last 2 bowl games and will most likely lose 4 games this season. Next year we have new qb, receivers. Basically new offense.

He did not inherit a top 3 program. We averaged 3 losses in the 3 years proceeding his first season.

In between B and C. He inherrited a good program. He's maintained the program just enough to get by. If you don't think he's tanking the program at the same time, just rewatch the BCSNC from January 9, 2012.

Tanking the program due to a loss in a NC that followed LSU's otherwise most dominant season ever? Seriously?

Absolutely A. Saban/Dinardo weren't churning out NFL talent during their stops here not to mention contributions to the program. Just b/c you guys are pissed at the guy doesn't discredit what he's done.

Complaining about 10W seasons - just wait until the next coach comes struggling to win 7.

All of the "should of" instead of should've/ should have,
"Your" instead if you're/you are, and "loose"instead of lose on this board kill me.

Easily A - if you do not pick this, you're missing the big picture.

To all those who want to argue with me - how many coaches at LSU have done the following in only 7 years?

1. Appeared in two national championships, winning one
2. Finished 1st in SEC West 3 times (2nd every other year except 1)
3. Won 2 SEC championships

I'll be waiting :)

Can those claiming C explain how Miles has diminished a program that only had one season with less than 3 losses since 96? And you would have to go back to 87 for the last season with less than 3 losses before that. But yeah Miles has diminished the program by fielding teams that have produced less than 3 losses 5 times since 2005. Even given this year's team it seems he has improved the program.

So, before Miles got here we were a top 3 program? Are you serious? We lost 5 games in 2002 and 3 games in 2004 (after the national championship year). We lost 2 out of 3 bowl games before Les arrived, then we won our next 4 bowl games in a row. We were not even in the top 10 programs in the Country when Les arrived. Were you 10 years old in 2005 and just didn't remember?

Les built this program and negatigers like you are trying to bring it down. Sad, very sad.

yep 13-1, 10-3 & good chance of going 8-5 this season. That's not a positive trend!!! And I don't think he has the "chest" to turn it around.
