Apple snails anyone try them?

My brother was at a camp this weekend and found bunches of them on the water lilies there. I was told they are ok to eat. Thinking about going try to catch some and cook em up. Anyone else try them out? Thinking this might be an easy way to score a meal and drink some beer.

We got them all over too. Guy asked the same thing this weekend. You notice all the links of hot pink eggs on the cypress knees?

I guess if you can do oysters, you can do that.

Both are mollusks.
