Last week there was some discussion on how long Brees might play. I've been saying he can go to 40 without an unforeseen serious injury.

Check out these 6 Questions with him.

If you could have nine of anything, what would it be? "Nine more years to play in this league." Even if it's just hope I'm glad to hear he's hoping maybe close to as much as we are.

By then he'd be a shell of a shell of his former self

He's already a shell, so he'd be a half-shell.

Averages 4000 yards and 30 TDs for the 9 years. Where would that put him all time?

Well, he's already taken over Favre's jeans commercials, so might as well get all his records too.

Someone please bookmark all of the ridiculous threads over the years badmouthing Brees so they can be bumped the years after he retires. I'm not looking forward to that at all.

I just looked at it. With that pace, if possible, he would shatter all of Favres numbers.

Giving manning 4500 and 40 for 3 more years as a best case-ish scenario for him puts him at about 76,000 yards and 600 TDs

Brees currently is at 48,983 yards and 349 TDs. Adding 4000 and 30 for 9 more years for him puts him at about 85,000 yards and 630 TDs

I think 4000 and 30 is doable.
