i was thinking a trip out of big lake for trophy trout (hackberry best service out there?) but i'm open to any suggestions on what trip i should take.
don't really want to pay for an offshore charter trip considering my good friend's uncle runs an offshore business out of cocodrie.

what would be a fun trip to take?

For big lake - Call Capt. Jared Adams @ Adams Trophy charters.

You will not be disapointed...

Although my first name is Jared, I'm not Capt' Adams. He is a good friend of mine though & he is also one of the best guides on the lake. We have fished a few redfish tournaments together. The tournament that I won last month we were fishing together.

As mentioned above, it's not big trout time right now. He will however put you on some fish. The flounder are running right now & he knows where to put you on some good reds in the marsh. You would be hard pressed to find another guide who will work harder to get you a limit of fish. He also does cast & blast trips. He had such a good duck season last year, for the 2nd split he offered a guarantee that you would kill your limit of ducks or you didn't have to pay for the trip. Limited out every day... Like a boss...

Tell him that I sent u his way, he will take good care of you. I personally guarantee it...

from around. You've "skipped" past me on occasion in the SHip channel a few times and we met at a boat show several years ago.
Hope you know I was just messing with ya earlier.
