I think that is the key to our losses of late....until we have an OL and DL that can compete with the Bamas out there, we can have all the skilled players we want, but the game will be won in the trenches. Think we ended up with 40+ yards on the ground last night counting the sacks, and Bama had close to 200. Being able to run and being able to stop the run....

Totally agree, and where the recruiting differences really seem to stand out. LSU is a little down in the skilled positions, but can compete with the talent there, its just years behind the line talent IMO. Early departs are a part of this, but level of recruits really stand out.

This is the very reason that we can't continue to lose our best line talent to the devil.

I would like to see the O-Line grades...

Elliott Porter seems very average at Center

Hawkins has regressed...he was bitching out Trai Turner too...

Vadal looked like he was playing in wet cement at times...

La'el was getting owned at the end...he may want to stay another year before turning Pro...
