True story.

I would like to see Peyton Manning pull a TeRio impersonation after a naked bootleg for a touchdown.

Would be a shame if he can't go against the Chiefs next week.

I thought the rule was a hit from the knee down.

Looks up around the back upper leg.

Never been a Manning fan, but I'd hate to see this happen.

The rule actually says "the area of the knee". Either way, I think a no-call is the right call regardless because he clearly didn't intend to go low on Manning and was coming off of a block and partially pushed that way by Manning's own lineman.

And I say that as a huge Manning fan boy.

It will be sad because the yardage, touchdown, and QB rating records were all on pace to go down this year. Possibly the completion percentage record too. Losing such a dominant season to injury would be shitty

I can't understand anyone actually hoping he doesn't play. I hate rooting for Manning, but I enjoy being a witness to greatness.

In all seriousness though, SBNation's captions give me seizures.

"Peyton Manning MRI shows no new damage; Broncos QB "will play Sunday"

""Peyton Manning absolutely will play Sunday against the Chiefs," an NFL source said Monday morning.

A magnetic resonance imaging exam showed an aggravation of Manning's right high ankle sprain, but no new significant damage."

Manning Maniacs across the country breathe a deep sigh of relief today. Although it would have been nice for his ankle sprain to heal up a little
