The last 10 mins of that game were very difficult to watch

Putting aside the negatiger vs positiger debate, the last few minutes of that game were very hurtful to watch. Seeing the team quit like that on Mett, the other team imposing their will on us and the general feeling of helplessness isn't something we're used to as fans.

I hope this is a catalyst for improvement.

The majority of the team quit, no doubt.

Les has his work cut out for him.

Our D line got handled in the 4 Qtr..they were gassed. We're playing alot of young guys, next year D should be improved. Ego and Freak need to stick around, they ain't ready for next level.

That's what great programs do to good programs.

It isn't going to get any better. We can only hope for a 2010 game once every few years.

If you rewatch the game (not recommended), you will see Freak begin to take plays off at the beginning of the 3rd quarter.

And he was rarely if ever double teamed.

It's just disappointing how it went from another potential classic to a completely systematic dismantling.

I still thought LSU could come back when they went up 31-17, and was almost right when Beckham almost took it to the house...and then that run play on 1st down was just pitiful and shot my confidence.

No doubt, my comment was only about how last night felt. It sucked worse than 1/9 for me.

Look, UGA was just better than us. We can't win every game.

But we blew Bama last year with poor coaching, ditto for Clemson and Ole Miss was a combo of poor play and poor coaching/game management.

I agree With the OP. That last ten minutes of the game was a lifetime. I just wanted the game to end.

If it were a battle, the players would have thrown down their weapons to flee the field, after the Generals committed suicide.

It was a rout.

This. I can't believe how delusional people can be. We have established a pattern and practice. This performance was not a fluke and is nothing new.

The play calling and that stupid running up the gut shite down 14 with 7 minutes to go was classic Les Miles football.

Also the inability to get Mett out of the pocket and away from the sack was disgraceful. He got sacked 4 times in a row.

The team quit and this isn't the first time it's happened under Miles.

So, let's review...

LSU loses to a depleted Ole Miss team, and clearly were not "up" for that game.

Then, they sleepwalk against Furman (again, not "up" for the game).

Then, after an open date (i.e., extra week to prepare), the team comes out unfocused and undisciplined, and then quits in the 4th quarter.

Thank God Les Miles says quirky, funny shite at press conferences, or else I'd be worried.

And that's the problem.

It's no longer easy for him when it's not handed to him on a silver platter.
