Alabama has constructed at least 6 buildings in the last 2 years that make LSU's business school look "meh."

What about LSU's new Chemistry building?

Bama has lost a lot of funding too, but is actually growing and improving. It's a fact. I'm not saying I want to be a Gump. I hate most things about the state of Alabama, but you can't argue with facts.

Compare LSU's tuition with Alabama's - both in-state and out-of-state...

Wrong.

Thank Edwin Edwards and all of the Louisiana Legislators who supported him and his agenda and the corruption.

Bama's is probably bigger and better. They have the best Chemistry building in the US.

And the enrollment growth is going to plateau or even decline and in order to keep up with the facilities costs Bama will have to either alter their admissions standards or raise tuition.

the new business complex at LSU looks terrible. The fake wood is a mess.

everything new LSU does is just tacky looking. The westside of Tiger Stadium is awful.

No doubt.

I was just contributing to the building construction contest we have going on.

Actually, I'm growing more and more concerned with growing number of LSU fans who are obsessed with everything Alabama and Saban.

Its unhealthy.

"LSU has the best business school in the conference..."

Not so fast there Scooter. Looks like Univ. of Alabama is #58 and LSU is #61 in America.....but y'all ARE more expensive.

#58

University of Alabama (Manderson)
Tuscaloosa, AL

$9,200 per year (in-state, full-time); $22,950 per year (out-of-state, )

University of Connecticut
Storrs, CT

$12,866 per year (in-state, full-time); $30,074 per year (out-of-state, full-time)

#61

Louisiana State University–?Baton Rouge (Ourso)
Baton Rouge, LA

$23,100 per program (in-state, full-time); $54,920 per program (out-of-state, full-time)

I don't think it's supposed to be "wood". I'm not the biggest fan of it but if were comparing to Bama. It's a lot easier to just build red brick buildings with white columns.

I worked in that building. It really is impressive. Shelby hall is just 4 floors of full service labs with built in offices for each research group. They over built so they can expand with more research groups. It's awesome.

the quicker we tell them what they want to hear, the quicker they will quit trolling this board looking for things to argue about.

Other than the infamous pipe, I think you are overreacting.

Problem with LSU is too many LSU fans hate everything about LSU and they wouldn't be satisfied if LSU erected a brand new campus and stadium adorned with pure gold, free everything, and a 30 second commute off campus for 100,000 people at once. We wouldn't be happy if LSU somehow played songs that everyone liked, the football team won every game, and played every game at 7 pm on national tv.

It's about details, man. Bama's doing the details better these days, and it's embarrassing. Louisiana has spent the last five years gutting LSU, losing over 200 professors (and their grants), etc. etc.

That's what happens when your state has 8,000 public Universities. Not enough money to go around.
