When is the last time we did this? To me the sign of well coached teams is how you improve as the season goes on. I feel like maybe the only time we've improved under Les was in 2006.

This is a good point. EVERY yr, about midway, we start to regress. The things we do good, we get away from. Teams adjust, we dont. We dont adjust during games, we dont adjust during the season.

Lsu hasn't played its best football in November since 2006.

That's no way to go about trying to win championships.

Last year. Easily.

That 2011 team got more dominant every game until 1/9. Overall the team still improved.

2010.

2009.

2006.

2005.

Just wait until you see the next 3 games unfold. It's going to be brutal.

This is the best evidence of Miles as a coach. The 2011 team peaked midway through the season and looked horrible against GA in the title game.

no way. We were rolling on offense that year. We went to the air and burried UF early in that game. Things were clicking. Then we get conservative. We deside to run. Our air attack gets put in a position to fail. Enter Jefferson. Glaring concerns. But our defense bails us out. (See SEC championship game... See game before that)
We are cocky, stick to conservative ball. Enter Bama/LSU 2. No change during the game. Les is stubborn. The rest is history.

I respectfully disagree. We definitely regressed a little last year or just didn't improve at all, either way we didn't get better. 2011 we peaked in the florida game and showed some problems (albeit remaining dominant) in the latter part of the year. I'm not saying we got significantly worse or anything, just not better. 2010, I guess I can give you the bowl game but we were who we were throughout the season. 2009 absolutely regressed. 2008, thats too easy. 2007, the defense got significantly worse as the season went on. Obviously we won the natty but we were better against Va Tech than Arkansas or even Tennessee. 2006 we definitely got better, I'll give you that. 2005 Katrina kind of fricked us but we didn't get any better.
