After the 07 run, we had many defections to the NFL and quite frankly, their replacements just weren't as good. Miles handled the problem. Hired Chavis, we recruited well and were back to our old ways in 2010.

I think our current struggles are a combination of defections and inferior talent at the D line/LB positions. Great opportunity to go out and find the right guys. More often than not, they're 3 or 4 star recruits sitting in the backyard.

Miles will get it fixed again. I was a Miles doubter until 2010. He won me over in that season.

In 2009, Miles was NEVER going to beat Florida again. Excuse me if I'm not a defeatist or a post count whore trolling the rant.

Next year will be worse.

Ole Miss and Auburn are on the rise.
Bama will still be Bama.
If Sumlin stays, A&M will keep getting better judging by the way he recruits.

Miles has had 2 good seasons out of the last 6. Get used to it.

Or Bama. Miles beat them both the next two years.

These whiny pussies are fickle bunch indeed.

More than likely. Jennings will be a junior, the 2013 class will be experienced, the 2014 class will be coming into their own, and 2015 is shaping up to be another great year for recruiting in Louisiana. If we recruit well and the players develop well, we'll be right back were we should be. 2015 and 16 will be good years. Saban should be gone too.

10-3 with all three losses to top 10 teams by one score and wins over the #3 team in the country and shutting down the Heisman winner on the road is a good season you nerd.

Never been a Miles fan and never will be. Any goodwill he earned during the magical 2011 season was lost on 1/9/12. I love the Tigers but I can't stand Miles. When I was at UT, I watched him beat OU twice, but stumble and bumble against just about every other team in the Big XII. He inherited a Maserati from Saban and has since turned it into a Kia. I hate to see the Tigers lose, but I realize that it is a regrettable but necessary evil needed to get this joker out of BR.

Ole Miss comes to TS ( where LSU has lost once since 09)

Bama won't have McCarron, Clinton-Dix, and Mosely and they come here

A&M may lose Manziel and Sumlin

How much do you actually get paid to post here? The Rant wants to know.

Describing the LSU football program in 2004 as a Maserati is stupid.

Sorry if it doesn't fit your narrative for how Miles has ruined the greatest program of all time....that had only lost less than 3 games twice in almost 20 years (one of which was under Dinardo), and have now done so 4 times in the last 9 years under Miles.

People are frustrated because they've extrapolated their expectations based on what Saban did at Bama. Life doesn't work that way. Just have to deal with it.

No, it's not. Maybe not a Maserati, but a BMW or Benz, to be sure.

Think Le$ Mile$ could have built what Saban helped build here at LSU? NOT A CHANCE.

I agree with LouisianaLonghorn. Mile$ tenure at Okie St. was anything but reassuring. Living in Dallas at the time, I paid attention to Mile$ and his program. Le$ came across as a stumbling, bumbling goofball. I was shocked when his name surfaced to take over for Saban.

Biggest myth on the Rant? That Le$ is a "great guy" and that Saban is a "bad guy."

When Tiger fans resort to this nonsense, it shows they need a security blanket to snuggle with because they can't deal with the fact that one man is an outstanding coach and the other is an average coach.
