Les Miles = Charles Barkley

He is as hard-headed and egotistical as Barkley.
Both are quirky and well known.
I know Miles has a national champoionship, and Barkely lacks an NBA championship, so that is not the prime element of this comparison.
They are the same because each of them would rather loose with their own philosophy than adapt and win.
Barkeley took the last shot to give himself a chance to be the championship-winning shooter, as opposed to passing the ball to an open man and winning the game/championship.
Miles irrationally believes that he can outmuscle Alabama in the 3rd and 4th quarter of games in the trenches, and would rather run the ball nowhere than pass the ball and give his team a chance to win the game.
They are two of the most well-known, quirky and frustrating figures in all of sports.
Yes, Miles got one championship despite his hard-headedness when he got on a hot streak with risky playcalling and Pittsburgh winning over West Virginia, etc.....
But he is amazingly frustrating to watch.
And don't tell me Cam made all of those 2nd half play calls last night without Miles expressing to him his approach before coming out of the halftime locker room, becuase if you really think that, you are very stupid.

Wat
More like Les Miles = George W. Bush
Inarticulate, affable idiot who was given everything and did his best to frick everything up (though I'll admit Les has done a better job in his respective role).
