. With 33 why even give the no disciplined 44 the ball. At least they sat him down but too late. That was the game changer

We needed him in the game.

While it was a huge play, it was not a momentum changer. The play that changed the game was the fake punt.

Had he scored. I don't think it would have mattered much. Bama would have overcome that TD.

The Copeland fumble obviously hurt, but the obvious fake punt after a TO was the killer. Why we didn't leave our punt safe unit on the field is beyond me.

Didn't saban say something along the lines of "we were gonna run the fake if they came out in safe, but they didn't and we ended up calling a timeout. After the timeout they came out in safe so we ran it"

We did have them on the field. But the way they play defense, maybe we should have had our punt return defense in the game.

Maybe not the reason we lost, but bama may change their entire approach bein down 14-3 instead of 7-3

nah the regular D was out there but lets be honest. They could have let AJ keep it and Average Johnson and Ego weren't gonna stop it.

Agreed.

But Hill should have been in the game on Copelands fumble. He would have scored easily.

I guess that should make me feel better that we had it called right, but for some reason it makes it worse. I guess we're fortunate they punted on those couple 4th and short's.

Copeland scores easy too if he holds on to the ball. Regardless, I would have been fine not giving him the ball the rest of the game, but we needed his blocking.

But Hill would have not gotten touched on that play. he would have scampered to the corner. Copeland was not fast enough.

I agree with this.
