Did he at least say he is thankful for the offer? I understand he is looking out for his son but kind of shitty to single out LSU like that, especially after basically honoring what they told his son at camp in the summer and for the hard work he put in for his senior season

Easy to understand their position but they should be aware that that they will not find the honestly & directness of the LSU staff @ every school that offers. I think Les is a (rare) man of his word in the college game.

If LSU isn't looking at thim as an RB it's because they don't feel like he's an NFL RB and they want to try him somewhere they think he will succeed more. They have such a solid track record of building NFL RB's this should carry a lot more water than where a recruits dad wants him to play, imo.

Darrel Williams just broke Ehret single season rushing record. Ehret ties it at 14. Halfway thru 1Q #nolaprep
IMO. DW is the 2nd best back in the state this year behind Fournette. But he has to do what is best for him. His coach posts on 247 all the time, so you know its tough on him.

It seems as open ended as it can possibly be. I can't think of one instance where the staff has made someone switch to a position they didn't want to play.
I read the ATL offer as: well try at RB, but if we can't get you on the field as a RB, we won't just bury you on the depth chart never to be heard from again.

Don't get it twisted. The kid loves LSU, but wants to play rb. Spencer ware type back.....would love to see it work out, but understand both parties' position.
