What kind of bug is this?

Saw it under my carport and have never seen one before. Not sure if it is a spider and didn't think to count legs before squishing it.

Assassin Bug. I leave them alone because they kill aphids.

They do bite. Had one bite me a couple months ago. Hurt like fire/bee sting.

I think I saw one of those kill a Black Mamba, and a Honey Badger at the same time on Natgeo Wild. I would not worry about it. They are probably not right all of the time.
