Everyone knows that for LSU to compete in this one the defense must step up. Bama offense runs off getting the ball to its play makers on the edge, i.e. throwing ball to wrs behind line of scrimmage, RBS off tackle and they are very good in the open field. LSU LBs have must be quick and tackle well. Louis, Kwon and Barrow must play great game. I'm looking for Kwon to have monster game.

LB's will be key to keeping AJ off of his game. He hasn't faced a defense, or a secondary with as much talent as ours.

DE's need to contain. LBs need to slide and fill. We do that and we're in good shape.

I didn't say we were great, by far, but we do have talent. They're just underdeveloped. Look for raw talent to step up and hopefully make some great plays.

Maybe, but the passive zone scheme that Chavis runs sucks on its own. I think that the play of the D-line is just as key. If we can't get any pressure on Douchebag McCarron, then it could get very ugly.

We don't blitz enough. And We never faced a consistent passer like AJ. Murray is not as great as everyone in UGA thinks. That is not a comparison.

I agree...force QB to early decisions and good LB play. If they let him pick his passes, LSU is down for the count.

I would take VT's defense over ours any day of the week. And their DC.
