Someone that is 6'9" with a 7'3" wingspan is long. He's also tall, but that's not what people are referring to here. Not a difficult concept.

Oh I get the concept, just I refuse to adher to the new stupid arse way of saying someone is tall. Oh and it is a ball aka basketball... not a rock!

This is the most height and length we've had since 2004. And honestly, I like the guards we have better on this years team.

LSU found its rhythm after the first media timeout of the opening half. The Tigers scored 38 of 43 points highlighted by 20-1 and 13-0 runs over the last 15:58 of the stanza to take a 42-11 advantage into the locker room. Xavier was held without a field goal from the 16:16 to the 3:43 mark.

LSU was undersized that year. Giving Terry Martin 6'6 is beyond generous. 6'4 1/2 at best and he didn't even know what defense was.

To be fair, Martin didn't really know what offense was, either.

Job is in better shape this year for sure.

I think a very strong argument could be made that he isn't the best player on the team anymore.

I'm sorry but I can't agree with that. We had players put up good stats but JOB has proven it in SEC play against the toughest teams we play. We will lean on him down the stretch and he will be a workhorse in the paint again

This. He would hit a three, think he's hot shite, and then every time he would get the ball within 30 feet of the hoop he would throw it up. And miss.

Maybe. If he manages to consistently stay out of foul trouble, he can take over a game like no one on our team, outside of maybe Hickey. I could see Martin, once he gets comfortable, being that type of player at least on the offensive end. He also appeared pretty strong on the defensvie end. I'm eager to see how Mickey stacks up against bigger forwards, but he could end up being that guy on the defensive side.

I think JOB's strength, rebounding ability, and FT shooting (who knew) put him over Mickey. Both were great in the game.

this reminds me of two weeks ago when espn(i think espn) released their top 100 players in CBB this year and Martin was above JOB and 90% of the people on this board were like "yeah that makes sense".
