LSU +13 seems crazy to me or do we really get rolled by 2TDs? This seems a little extreme. Either way I'm betting on my tigers!!!

based on the way we have played, I could see why the line is where it is....

only us true tiger fans know that you never know what lesticles has up his sleeve, though....

What's more unbelievable?

1.This huge point spread

2. Not 1 of our defensive players would start at Gumpville.

If you must insist on betting this game, Take LSU anything north of 14 points. Too much value to pass up on.

Straight up moneyline? Money has to be on Bama.

My old man plays college games weekly. Not a ton but he's usually got about a grand in play. Not sure if this makes him a serious gambler but he knows his shite. And he rarely, rarely touches LSU or the Saints because he insists his emotions about either team cloud his judgement. Good strategy, IMO.

True gamblers don't bet on their own team. I'm smart enough to know that my view of LSU football is too skewed to every place a fair bet on the tigers.

That said, Vegas creates a line that they believe they can split the money with. Couple that with the fact that everyone and their mother always bets on the #1 team, Vegas may expect closer than a 13pt game, but had to bump up the line to get more money on LSU.

I used to think the same way until I got LSU +10.5 at home last year. If you get a good number on a good team, take it.

The money in Vegas is falling heavily on Bama. Last I saw it, was almost 70% on Bama.

I'm taking the points and the money line on my Lsu Tigers.

What'd you get it at?

And always sprinkle some $$$ on the ML if you're betting the spread on a major dog.

I don't disagree with not betting from your heart (LSU) but a few things I consider.
1. Bama hasn't had to scheme against a Cameron offense/play calling style. Stay out of this game Les.
2. Freak and Ego have to play well if they want to improve their draft stock and their play is my biggest concern in this game.
3. Our oline matches up well with their dline hopefully allowing us to get to their LBs(which is their strongest group in their defense) allowing copeland to open up some holes if he can remember the play correctly.

When it opened at -10.5 the ML was +340. Now I see it at +431

That line is begging for money on LSU since sharps know that we're more of a big name than a real threat to win. There has not been one shred of evidence that our defense will be able to stop them more than 2 or 3 times all game.

In past years LSU has been absolutely dreadful on offense. As such, they played near perfectly every game in all other aspects:

Kicking/Punting
Return Game
Defense

This carried the team.

Now our defense is sub par, at best, so we have to have perfect gameplay from all other aspects of the team.

When all other aspects don't play to their full potential, we lose.

UGA - Beckham muffs the punt and gives UGA 7 points. That was the difference. We lost.

Ole Miss - Mett forces throws into coverage and turns the ball over uncharacteristically. That was the difference. We lost.

Against Bama, LSU has a chance to win:

If LSU stays positive in the turnover battle
If LSU stops the run (BIG task here)
Plays a perfect game on special teams (good returns, effective punting and making FG's when given the chance)

We screw up in any of those aspects, it's gonna be a long arse night.

What happened the last time they played an offense with a pulse?

They allowed over 600 yards of offense.

The next best offense they've "man-handled" was Colorado state.

Where's their defense going to be because the evidence shows that they can't stop a balanced attack from teams that don't suck arse.

we win 34-30. ship the money.
