and I'm not afraid to say it. We sure could have used him Sunday against the Ivory pain train.

Get well soon.

And Jenkins.

Hard to win missing both your safeties.

He is not good at all in coverage, a blind man can see that. But he is excellent in reading/tackling the RB and a monster in a blitz. It's not like we are solid at LB, so having a good player in the secondary to cover the run was sorely missed last week. If we shut down the run game early they would have had to force the throws and forced more sacks against a really inexperienced QB. That is a game-changer that we didn't have.

I will say it and am not afraid.

We need Payton's play calling back. We only scored 20 f@cking points. Thats why we loss. Not the def giving up 26. If RR wants grandpa back fine with me. But we aint doing sh!t scoring 20 points.

Their defense played really well and we are hurting up front and at receiver. Considering everything we still got two TDs and two FGs, could have been better but it could have been worse too... The inability to stop the run was a huge factor in losing that game, but it was a shared distribution of failure across defense and offense this time. The loss to New England was like 90% offense.

Agreed.

We need our offense healthy. Our o-line too play well, etc.. etc...

But the biggest thing is we need our genius back. He's still shaking the rust off.

Harper is a solid run stopper, a sure tackler, and an above average SS in the NFL. He most certainly is noticeably missed when not on the field.

I think so.

a sure tackler

Not very much in the open field.

and an above average SS in the NFL.

I think he's average which is still a most difficult place to reach in the NFL and last.

He most certainly is noticeably missed when not on the field.

I really like MJ in his role more.

Sure you can say Harper is a good tackler, but teams will notice he is on the field and throw at him. Besides Vaccaro is playing that role mostly and doing really well.

Do y'all have amnesia?

He has been killing us for years. Roman Harper is exactly where he needs to be, in civilian clothes on game day. He should be unemployed right now, but our staff is blindly loyal to certain players (Will Smith, Harper & Ingram). He is a complete liability whenever he is on the field.
