Who implemented this Whoop Whoop thing? And why are we running with it?
I guess everyone has there own opinion but to me this is horrible.
If you are on board to change this, how do we get this done? Call JW, letter to admin, letter to Hud?

Have the legislature pass a law....but then ULL probably wouldn't follow it anyway.

Not here to discuss name changes, tapout, diat, etc... You can troll the other hundreds of threads relating to that.
Come check out the game. It's a good atmosphere tailgating and inside with good football. No LSU game conflict, so should not be a problem to support the State and other State schools?
Just this first down Whoop Whoop deal is bad. Kind of looking for some UL Lafayette guys opinions and trying to stay away from raginpagin.com

Just giving you a hard time. Actually went to a game in 2006. Was at the LSU/MS St game. Jamarcus was ripping them a new one. Had a lighting delay. Best friend that Attended UL-L (huge LSU by the way) called me come tailgate. Drove out west. It wasn't a bad experience. Got drunk. Snuck bud light in the game, cops saw and kicked us out. Continued to tailgate and get F'd up. Good time

My kids like the whoop whoop part and participate with it.
Doesn't bother me either way. If it stays as part of the 1st Down announcement, then I hope to hear a shite load of whooping at Cajun Field. Hell, I think I'll start whooping with them as Harris and McGuire continue to run the rock.

I was in the student section near the 50 around the Chi Alpha kids. Seemed to be coming from there.

I hate any first down chants. Too many schools do it and it seems very high schoolish.
