How many of those teams are playing this saturday? Jordan Jefferson isn't walking through that door this week. And if he did, he wouldn't be the same player.

Same thing with Oregon State in 2004. One could argue they beat us, which they did on the field, not on the scoreboard. I think their kicker missed 4 field goals that day.

This is probably the weakest team he will have taken to Alabama. The 2007 and 2011 teams were national champion contenders, and I will argue that the 2005 team would have been as well if not for the hurricane. The 2009 team was a poor quarterback away from being a very good team as well.

Why not? They were dumb to try all of those long FGs. And hey, field goals are part of the game...
