Same thing with Oregon State in 2004. One could argue they beat us, which they did on the field, not on the scoreboard. I think their kicker missed 4 field goals that day.

This is probably the weakest team he will have taken to Alabama. The 2007 and 2011 teams were national champion contenders, and I will argue that the 2005 team would have been as well if not for the hurricane. The 2009 team was a poor quarterback away from being a very good team as well.

Why not? They were dumb to try all of those long FGs. And hey, field goals are part of the game...
