Emerils Chef Table
Posted by lighter345 on 11/5/13 at 8:55 am00
Would it be worth going on a Tuesday night or not as fun?
I have heard great things, but didn't know if going on a early weekday night would take a lot away from it.
Thanks

I have zero experience with this, but if I was interested in as much attention as I could get from the staff, I'd pick a "slow" night.

I like going to events on "off" nights. It certainly depends on the cuisine but I think Emeril's would be fine on Tuesday.
I would imagine you would need advance rezzies which would allow them time to prepare menu and assure quality you want.
If your at chef's table, you don't need background noise.
Think it would be a great time.

I have never done one and was thinking about doing it with a few friends tonight or next week. I will give them a call. Thanks

I've done it multiple times there and always on a Sunday night. Emeril's always seems to be pretty full, but the chef's table has been great every time. I've always gotten it way in advance, though I don't know if that's necessary.

Emeril's is one of those restaurants where, if it is convention season (and even if not), it is always fun and lively.
Even if you cant get in the chef's table, go anyway. They'd probably do some off menu items if you asked. Hint: if the white bolognese is on the menu get it.

Just found out I'll be there tonight; sitting at the chef's food bar. First time.
