Adam Schefter ?@AdamSchefter 13m
More definitive scans today but initial tests showed small fracture in Aaron Rodgers' collarbone that could sideline him about three weeks.

Still dont know why they didnt keep Vince Young. And then if he tanked....could have just signed Flynn.

ETA: Maybe 4-6 weeks?
Rodgers to miss more time?

Flynn will be re-signed by the Packers and proceed to throw 9 TDs and 0 INTs in Rodgers' absence. This will make a team sign him to an even larger contract than Seattle did

Flynn will then get beat out in training camp by a rookie QB and released again. Thus having ANOTHER cool $30M in his bank account.

I know it's pretty immature to say this but your avi makes me uncomfortable on first glance. Not trying to be an a-hole

They could still go 3-0 over that stretch. Had they won last night they could have easily gone on to an 13-3 record and maybe even the #1 seed.

I wouldn't be shocked if he comes back early and doesn't miss the entire three weeks. Just seems like that kind of guy.

I would see this means Lacy gonna get those STATS, but without Rodgers his numbers will be hurt. No way he consistently gets over 6 a pop against stacked boxes.

Having Lacy might help during something like this

What happens if Seneca Wallace lights it up during that stretch?

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports has subsequently reported that Rodgers is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

While NFL players often display the ability to heal faster than non-athletes, the ability of human bones to heal doesn’t vary much based on profession or fitness level.

So 4-6 weeks it is, and the real question is whether Rodgers can be ready a few days short of four weeks, so that he can play on Thanksgiving when the Packers visit the Lions.

In an unrelated development, FOX has delivered a case of calcium supplements to Rodgers.

Sad thing? I can see this exact thing happening.

He'll look like a million bucks back in the Packer system and someone will take a chance on him as a result.
