I don't care if we were 3-6 coming into this week with this talent we have on our team how can any LSU fan feel so in the dump about playing Bama? It isn't like we haven't had top 10 recruiting classes the last 4 years because we have. The talent is there and we have the coordinators that are going to allow our players to have the opportunity to makes plays and win this game. Sure we should be 8-1 possibly 9-0 but any Les Miles team will come to play against Alabama so lets all start being a little more optimistic about things and not expect to get our asses ran out of the stadium Saturday night. I may have on my purple and gold glasses but LSU wins a close one 31-27. GEAUX TIGERS!

I'm feeling fine and optimistic. We have as good a shot as A&M, who took them to the wire. That team is not the GOAT, and Saban is not the GOAT. They've had four years of everything going their way that possibly could go their way. Karma will eventually turn on them with a vengeance, and it could well be this weekend.

Well, I'm not expecting to see LSU win. I'd love to see it but I'm preparing for the worst. Like you, I live in AL and am preparing to eat shite for yet another year. I'm so tired of hearing shite from these fans, it's not even funny. I'd just love to see LSU ruin their attempt at a 3-peat.

FWIW......LSU does have the talent to beat Bama. The question is, will Miles somehow find a way to mess it up?

I think LSU can pull the upset just like in 2010 and 2011 when no one gave them a chance. That was with quarterbacks named Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee.

A&M put up 42 points on Alabama so I think the Tigers can at least equal this.

Alabama Offense put up 49 points on A&M Defense which is the worse in the SEC.

The Tigers get 42 Points and LSU Defense is much better than A&M. LSU holds Alabama to 28 Points.

LSU Wins!

LSU did pass the ball ALL over this Bama defense last year, 298 yards to be exact. For an offense that looked as lost as LSU's offense last year that was a huge accomplishment. Mett needs to stop locking on to Odell like in that Ole Miss game though. Landry was open on at least 1 of the interceptions thrown into double coverage on Odell. I think Mett will fix the kinks personally which opens up the run game with Hill. If LSU is positive in the battle of turnover margin and continues to pass the ball effectively, there is no reason they can't win.

Some wouldn't be happy without a little gloom and doom in their lives. F**k that, LSU wins by 10!

Have you seen our defense? It's broke and the mechanic is having a hard time fixing it. Every time it seems to work, one more thing messes it up. It takes all 11 to be on the same page or it doesn't work. Bama by 14.

This was my thinking until the OM game. I felt we had as good an offense as TAMU and a better defense but after the OM game I don't feel like either of those is true.

But it is the LSU - BAMA game so who knows what will happen.

This was a big problem for him last year, which is why it's so troubling -- he's regressed, not improved. Maybe he's peaked. Maybe he's overrated. This game will tell you, me, and NFL scouts.

Landon Collins will eat Mett's lunch if plays anything like he did at Ole Miss.

You are pretty optimistic considering we couldn't even put that up on Ole Piss with a depleted defense

Let's hope that is the case.

Edit: If Aggieland put up 42 on them, we can certainly be in the low 30's despite the emotional aspect.

That was at least with a defense full of first and second rounders. Right now, that is faaaaar from being the case.
