I've been four times previously, each plagued by food and/or service issues. Went Friday night to give it one last try and it finally lived up to its reputation.

Awesome salami and soft cheese plate, burrata was great, as were the squid ink taglioni with blue crab and garganelli with lobster

The funny thing is, I got the same waiter who was terrible on my last two visits. He was much improved

I can never get anyone to order anything other than pizzas when I go. Next up I'm not caving .. no pizzas, only apps, salumi and pastas.

OP- glad you enjoyed it. One of my favorites for pasta. I must say, you've shown more persistance then I may have given your experiences.

Maybe you should go outside of your usual 4-6 slot.

It's still happening. They're still doing work on the building. Not sure when they're planning on opening. I doubt it would be too long.

Its on Magazine in the other half of the building housing a GNC in between Jefferson and Napoleon(the cross street escapes me right now).

It's a Vitamin shop, not GNC. FYI.

I think R2R's buddy works there.

For some reason I thought it was going in the old Hevin place, which is right there too. Think Upperline is the cross street.

I think it is Upperline also, but that is the street I live on, so it always clouds my judgment of where things are.

That's going to be Ivy(Gautreau's spot).

My favorite restaurant in NO. I don't get the pizza anymore (although I like it). I usually stick to salumi and formaggi and pasta, or a special if they are offering one.
