We already have Ed Paris, who in my opinion challenges for being the best defensive back in the country. Then we have a chance to get Hootie Jones. Who is in the exact same class. They are both big defensive back backs who project to be great safeties, but they might be better at corners. Everybody else better hope we don't get hootie.

Hoo is hootie brown?

Eta: the context leads me to believe you're referring to hootie jones, but I'd say tony brown is the best player of the 3

Combination of Hootie Jones and Tony Brown. Hootie's size combined with Tony's athleticism and awesome hairstyles.

Deadly defensive back

This thread perfectly sums up the recruiting board during the bye weeks and the time after the season ends but before signing day.

I hear he plays both ways...at the same time.
Truly an amazing player. A Trev Faulk type of signing if we can land him.

Congrats on losing credibility.

Jabrill Peppers, Marlon Humphrey and Tony Brown are the only 3 in competition for the best overall DB in the country.

That's just silly. There is no way of really knowing that until they play against better competition in college or the pros.

Before you get too excited about next year, don't forget we need to replace Jack Mettenheimer as well. And probably Freak Ferguson.

some of you guys should be ashamed of yourself.Acting like Hootie is not good because he might go to Bama.He is 215lbs and covers like a corner what else do you want. Tony Brown is a world class athlete, but big DB's that can cover make the real money in the league. But hey it would be nice to put all three of em in the defensive backfield. A scary thought
