so what youre saying is theres no real indicator of just how good they are right now.

I would say that there are indicators of how good both Bama and LSU are ... and, one should consider all of those indicators when making a mere prediction.

Frick Bama.

the sad part, Charles, is that i tailgate and party for LSU at most of these games. Including this weekend at bama. I have a ton of fun and support the team right and left versus the opponents, but Les isn't holding up his part of the bargin to the players. He has cream of the crop players year in and year out and finds a way to lose games for his team. If we all just sit back blindly and "have a good time", we are a fault for the complacency just as Les is.

No matter how you slice it, clock management should not be an issue in year 8 or 9 or whatever the hell it is.

Don't say it isn't possible. You see 3 out of 4 and about to see 4 out of 5 this year.

I think the data in the OP is worth discussing. I do think that it is difficult to determine whether and how much Alabama has improved given the overmatched opponents faced in October. Most Bama fans, being honest, will tell you that we are kind of waiting to see if the improvement we think has taken place is real. I think LSU is still probably the best team on Alabama's schedule and will once again be a tough game.

I think Alabama would be undefeated with LSU's schedule too, but that is a conversation for a different thread.

Never said it was impossible. But improbable. They're on a run just like any other teams do every decade.

Oklahoma
Nebraska
Florida St.
Miami
USC
Texas

...and now Alabama.

Notice where the aforementioned teams are now or have been for a long time. Point being, they all eventually come back down to earth.

that s a great point, LSU could have been that team if not for a nit wit coach. However now we are coming back down to earth with no 3 peat to show for it.

No he won't.

foosball will and always will find a slant to throw dirt on LSU football. They could win another National Championship next year and he would hate it.

The guy wants Saban, loves Saban, and will want nothing but Saban at LSU.

he's one of "those guys."

I've brought this up numerous times before and these nuckleheads drown it out. After TAMU they've basically beat bottom dweller FBS teams. Sure they beat Ole Miss at Alabama's home, and sure they basically dismantled these other teams, but these other teams are straight fricking garbage. If you want a comparison of their schedule after TAMU using our opponents, you get

TCU (at home)
Ole Miss (at home)
Furman
Kent St
UAB
Ken St
UAB

Hell it was 17-6 AT HOME against Colorado St with 12 minutes left. Co St got the ball back then fumbled on their 30 and that was it. People would have been calling for Miles head if that shite happened.
