Found my buck

Got into stand about 4pm and before I could pull up my bow had a real nice 8 walk behind me at 15 yards. Set around pissed for about an hour when I heard something big stomping through the woods. Looked up and saw a big boy that had showed up on camera for the first time yesterday. Got the shakes and flinched as let the arrow fly. Waited 30 then checked where I had shot him, found my arrow with good blood on it but no visible blood trail. Arrow was broken with about 7 inches still inside. Backed out for two of the longest most second guessed hours of my life and with the help of a friend followed the worst blood trail I've ever seen. 100 yards later I found him. I know to some its nothing special but first one I've considered putting on the wall. Also one of the biggest bodies I've seen while still warm. I'm 6'2 200# for reference.

Thanks guys, I have never been that nervous over an animal before. I've never had one that I wasn't sure I heard fall before. I thought I heard him go down but knew I hadn't put a great shot on him. Got my first archery buck last year but this one feels great, especially after all the waiting.
