Did this about ten years ago for Thanksgiving and don't remember who we used. Looking to do it again this year and would like to give my business to a Louisiana-based company with (obviously) a quality product. Oyster dressing would be a MAJOR plus.

TIA FD SMEs . . .

Is this a serious question, or am I being mocked for not using Google?

Cuz I got answers for both.

Yes I've bought items from both on many occasions and they are very good, I think Heberts is better.

I've never used the mail order though as I live here.

Roger - thanks for the info. All mail order means is it'll be frozen solid - which is okay.

Appreciate the help -

Hebert's hands down. I've had them ship numerous times. Order from the Maurice store, though. Not the OK store or other locations.

Wow looks awesome, thanks for the links.

What dressing do yall recommend? The Pork Sausage stuffing with cornbread dressing sounds awesome, but so do all the others.

Crab an Shrimp seems like it could be kinda weird for thanksgiving, but seems like it might be good still.

A lot of times we don't realize who ships just because we live here. Figured it may be easier to give recs from places you had found that would ship versus people just giving random suggestions. I've never had one shipped but have eaten many of Heberts products over the years and they all were very good.

I wanna order from Heberts, still no idea which stuffing flavor to go with though.

Think I will get one of the rabbits as well, sounds so good and the shipping is so damn expensive so might as well get the most for the money.

I would also recommend the stuffed and rolled round steak. I'm not a big Turducken fan but with the chickens I like the rice dressing stuffing. I kinda go into a coma when I go into specialty meat/butcher shops, could easily just buy one of everything.

Most probably not at all mocking, but seeing who you saw as a point of comparison to the names he is familiar with himself, and what he would consider a better deal. Don't get your panties bunched up.

The chickens stuffed with broccoli and rice are unbeleivable.

Yup. It's for a very large crowd and won't be the only bird(s) on the table. And the gathering will be almost exclusively Californians so it's fun to throw them a curveball.

Thanks for the gouge everyone -

Garmisch check out this link. LINK /

I think the original store here in La has several locations in the US but you may want to call them to verify that.
