Anybody know how many passes were dropped that should have been caught? Not counting super-human acrobatic "could" have caught it drops, but stuff that was should have been caught by NFL standards.

too many.

Brees didn't play a bad game overall. sure he was off on a few throws, but both of those interceptions were flukes.

That was terrible.

It was one of those "start running before you secure the ball" drops.
So deflating.

People will rip the play call but if executed, would have been a big gain

at least 10 yards, maybe a lot more. There were only a few players on the field that had a chance to tackle him

it was a great play. Jed was wide open and would've had 4-5 yards and at the very least, would've picked up the first down.

I didn't mind that play call.

The next play call was atrocious.

Didn't SP learn his lesson from the last time he tried a reverse on 4th and short. I believe against the ATL about 6 years ago....didnt work then either.

At least he tried it with Reggie Bush and a WR back then instead of a 4th string TE who runs a 4.9 40

I forgot to DVR it so I can't go back and watch it.

A few of those drops being converteed makes a difference in this game - even with a porous OL

Kudos to coples for staying home, or prob would have worked

Still, that play needs to be a sneak or a quicker developing play

It reminded me of the Sproles drop at Green Bay before the missed FG.

I DVRd the damn thing. Had to throw away the cable box. It would never be the same having that crap etched in its memory.

On Jed's play?

That reverse to a slow 3rd string TE was a horrible call all the way around. How about a QB sneak? If you insist on running the reverse, put the ball in the hands of a fast human being.

Jed call was fine, but now we have two questionable calls in crucial moments in losses... That stupid bootleg shite in the patriots game and the reverse to the Te. What is it with Payton and these whacky plays?
