...are we so terrible at running it b/c we never do it or do we never do it b/c our interior OL is simply awful?

We ran the ball pretty well today when we ran it. We just decided that 12 runs and a tight end reverse was enough.

The interior of our ol is just not very good at getting a push.
You won't see that stated on here very much because of the black and gold glasses, but the reason why the few runs that worked today certainly wasn't because the line got an amazing push.

Yeah. You know, Grubbs was considered a pretty good signing at the time.
You remember 2009, when the Colts had one of the better pass rushing Ds in the league? 4th quarter of the SB comes along and they couldn't lay a hand on Drew. Seems like a long time ago...

Sad thing is, we had some good runs today. We're just so fricking obvious about what we're going to do that it's easy to stop. We hardly ever run out of the shotgun and it drives me mad. If you want to go 4-5 on the reg, fine. But you need to mix in the runs from those same formations and not say hey, we want to run so let's go back to that I and announce our intentions.

Like the ones who post here daily are really on some other level.
I spent two years just reading, and people like you really don't bring much to the table as far as great post.
Rant over. Bottom line, the Saints have got to get something fixed to get this run game in gear. The Saints are just getting too easy to game day plan against.
