The Saints are notorious for playing down to some opponents, so this really shouldn't come as a surprise to people who have followed this team for a long time. They'll likely beat the shite out of the Cowboys next week for Sunday Night Football.

This wasn't a must win, but this really could hurt down the road, especially with who is coming up on the schedule. For some reason though, and luckily, the Saints tend to play well against top tier teams. It's not time to worry, yet, 6-2 is nothing to bitch about. This is still a really good team, but got caught off guard today, it happens. They will bounce back.

I fully expect a win next week.

That being said, this loss just makes the loss to the Patriots hurt that much worse.

there's plenty to bitch about.

Like DLP, Payton's play calling, and our WR corps

The record isn't something to bitch about, but yes the play on the field today is. I agree with that. I'm just not one to say the sky is falling. They have to fix a lot of things, and I expect that to happen.

The Saints won't lose at home. They need to split the road games at least. 12 - 4 would be nothing to sneeze at.

Sounds good, but the truth is a different matter. The Saints have a aging QB that can't throw the ball vertical, and has below average WR and No running game. There good start may give them a playoff game, but I wouldn't bet on it. They are a declining team anyway you slice it.

Just last week he threw 5 TD passes, and ripped the Bills apart. This is so fricking stupid to say.

My God...

Not an overreaction at all. It's the NFL, teams lose. They'll bounce back next week and all will be good on here. Some pathetic fans we have.

The Ravens fired their offensive coordinator at this time last season... They then went on to win the Super Bowl.

The Bills defense is weak to say the least, the Jet's have a playoff type defense and we only scored 2 td's I am sorry that is not a good omen for the rest of the season.

We need to get healthy. Sproles, Colston, Jenkins. The jets did not have to worry about sproles out of the backfield. That was big.

Don't know that I'd label them declining. One dimensional at times, but not declining. Seems SPs play calling has been the biggest issue.

I was frustrated to see the lack of run defense and lack of attempting to run the ball. Payton knows better than that by now

If we lose to the Cowboys, I'm letting go of the fricking rope.
