Anyone own or shot the following guns and could give a little insight...
Winchester SX3
Beretta A400 Extreme
Ive shot the SX3 but not the A400 yet. A few friends have the A400 and brag on it constantly.
Looking for a gun to last, and is suited to kill anything from doves to geese.

Those your only 2 choices? You got the new A5 and the SBE. Shot the SBE a good bit last year and liked it a lot.

Not interested in Benelli (just personal preference) plus rather gas system vs inertia.
I like browning as I have a few products of theirs including A-Bolt .270 and a Sweet Sixteen.
I haven't shot the new A5, but heard the Maxus is a better gun.

Beretta is the only answer

Beretta not even close
Sx3 is a good gun. BUT when you throw an A400 next to it, you are comparing Kia and Ferrari.
Get the Beretta. I have a 390 that I have given hell since 8th grade (12 years) and it has never skipped a beat.

You heard the Maxus is a better gun than the new A5? Someone lied to you. My dads Maxus is a piece of shite.

I will tell you like I told my buddy the other day. Buy the Beretta and if you don't like it I will give you 80% of your money back for it.

Can I give you 80% for that extra grain?

I agree with the rest. If those are your only two choices then it's Beretta all the way. You're really cheating yourself by not throwing the new A5 in the mix. It's a sweet shooting gun. My wife has a AL391 Beretta and she says my new A5 recoils less to her than her Beretta fwiw. Remember there's a big difference in recoil and felt recoil. I know my A5 kicks a lot less than my SBEII. Oh and whoever said the Maxus is a better gun I almost guarantee hasn't shot the new A5. Folks can be pretty loyal to their chosen gun and kinda like to down anything else. But I'll put my A5 up against any Maxus or Beretta, or Benelli any day

Yes, yes you can. I paid $5000 for it so I will take 4K

You drive a hard bargain.

If you want one I will find you one. Most people over look them because the description is not familiar to them. I found Josey one for 1K which I thought was a steal.

I've never shot, nor even held, an SX3.
But I've shot several dozen cases through my A400 (mosly sporting clays, some duck hunting and one goose hunt).
Assuming the A400 fits you (which should be easy since they some with shims made for just that purpose), you really can't go wrong with the Beretta.
I clean mine every 2-3 cases, which is way more often than it needs. And it runs a lot cleaner than my Beretta 391's (which needed very little cleaning and were//still are awesome shotguns).
I'd buy the A400 with the KO system. Everyone I know who has one brags about it.

I just bought an SX3. I had an SX2 before. I love the fit of the SX3. I am a smaller guy and it felt better than the a400. The safety being on the front of the trigger guard also felt off.
I also think the a400 looks like arse.

Thanks everyone on your response.
Beretta sounds like it is worth spending the extra money on at this point.
A couple of you commented on the A5.
How does the A5 compare vs the A400 in terms of recoil and ease of taking apart and cleaning?
Also does the A5 have the ability to shoot anything from 7/8 oz. shells on up like the A400 has? This is a deal breaker as I said before I want something to shoot anything from doves to geese as well the occasional skeet shooting events.
