This is more metaphoric of the fan experience after 9-6

Albert Richardson pressures Walter Lewis. 1982.
LSU ended the Bear's streak. LSU had not beaten bama since 1970. The final score of 20-10 did not reflect how badly we beat them. Bama did not have a first down in the first half. It was after that game that Bear first spoke publicly about retiring. I think Chicken posted that LSU is 15-16-1 vs bama since then. Bama dominated the series prior to that.

I'm 38. Give me some context to this pic. When/where/ why important.

I was unfortunate enough to line up against that monster as a scrub lineman in like 8th grade. Quit football after that year as a matter of fact.

If someone has a photo of the 16-13 OT win in 2005 , post it.

tiger4178, you go to lee high? Yeah "blocking" him everyday in practice wasn't a very joyous thing for sure.

LSU vs. Bama 1988
LSU beats Bama 19-18 in a game I needed so badly having just moved to Alabama from LA.

You knew that this one was coming...

Early in the 1988 game, bama went up 12-0, and Bill Curry decided to go for two. They missed it, which meant the final LSU score put LSU ahead and did not tie the game. Don't chase points early in the game.

No pics, but I was at that game, sat right above the band! We were down 10-0 at half, and JR, Bowe and the boys came back and handled business! When we scored the winning TD in OT, my buddy jumped into the band and surfed for about 2 rows! ??It was awesome! One of my most favorite road trips ever!
