I don't mind snakes. Actually love them. We have tons of copperheads and cotton mouths where we hunt. I've just never seen a live rattler in the woods. There a beautiful snake alive or dead

Yep, should have left it. Canebrakes are one of the finest snakes in the South. All these "I killed it" posts have me wondering how many snakes are killed each year by hunters in LA alone. On average, how many snakes do each of you kill each year? Multiply the mean of the mean by 200,000 and you get a pretty big number. My annual average is 0.
