i think we have solid depth on the oline and we could still return everybody. That would be huge. But i think the coaches take at least one more. They have recruited well recently and have found a nice balance of instate and oos guys. We may not get a big name, but no one should shake their had at a 3 or 4 star olineman.

Is Bailey Granier (sp ?) still a possibility?
Bump for Bailey Granier.

He was/is kinda high on Vandy (and Bama, dunno who else). With Franklin gone, anyone heard about LSU opening up conversation with him?

I would figure he would be on the OL "list"

I should caveat this, I have an email form a friend who just said he heard that Granier was visiting toward the end of the month. I didn't really think about it when I read it, and I didn't ask where he heard this.

Granier needs to work on his feet but has the size to be great. Just needs the right coaching.

ha! was just fixing to ask if anyone knew if there had been improvement in that area.

I guess it still begs the question(s) of who will that LSU coach be and will Maewae still be consulting? (rhetorical- there's a separate thread for that)

I agree. 6'6" 350LBS and get him in with good coaching and kid can be a monster.

It is starting to look like they get 2 additional OL prospects to go along with Clapp and Brumfield.

2 OL
2 DL
1 WR
1 LB
1 DB

Should we take a shot at Christian Miller?

We aren't getting anyone if we don't pick up a new coach with the quickness.
