Why discontinue a good thing? (Pants related)

The knee is starting to wear through on my favorite pair of hunting pants... looking to replace them and guess what.
I did find a used pair on ebay, but the size is not right.
I'm just venting...
If anyone has any recommendations please post.
These were columbia 6 pocket pants that were really soft and silent like chamois. All I can find are denim or cotton polyester blend stuff that isn't the same.

Thick, but not briar proof. These were soft like the old button down shirts guys used to wear hunting.

I have (had) a pair of Cabelas 6 pocket pants that are super comfortable and light. They're waterfowl, but I'm sure they have them in woods camo if that's what you need. A few months ago I was frogging and cut them into shorts on the boat, but I'm definitely buying a new pair before the season starts up.

I'm looking at the Browning Wasatch pant and the MPW 6 pocket pants.
I looked at the browning at Simmons and they are stiff feeling. Maybe they just need a couple washes.

I have that same pair of pants. They are incredible. Rarely am in the woods without those bad boys on.
