I was just appointed commish to try to salvage this crap. It's a lot of money, so it's worth trying to finish this season out.

I need input on a trade that the prior commish yesterday let through.

Team A in dead last gave Cam Newton to Team B in 3rd place for Tom Brady.

first off, that's not a fair trade. Cam is top 5 qb right now, for Brady who is not top 10.

I won't stop stupidity.

But, it's father and son, and I've been warned by others to watch these two. Should I just let this one go and just watch out in the future? Or reverse this?

Thoughts?

that's a tough one. while it clearly appears to be father/son collusion, one could reason that tom brady will turn into tom brady soon

Tough spot, bro. Best of luck.

In regards to the father/son trade, I'd probably suspend it and ask them to give their reasoning behind the trade. I'm sure they'll come up with something, you let that one go through and any future trades between them get ultra scrutinized.

100% collusion.

New England has a bye next week FYI, Carolina's already had theirs.

In our league, if even one owner feels that there is something fishy about a trade, we put it up for a league vote. The two owners involved in the trade don't get a vote...if the vote of the other owners says negate the trade, then it is done. Fair and simple.

The talent of the players shouldn't be put into thought..Its a QB for a QB.

Those trades never make sense, EVER.

Agreed. I'm in a league with my family and my wife's family. It's $10 buy-in just to make it something. Even with so little riding on it, I don't offer trades with my wife and I like to wheel and deal. It just reeks and in this situation they should know better. But ultimately I agree with drizz.
