Shooting with "high powered assault rifle" at LAX

As reported by CNN

Chances that the gun is actually an AR-15 or AK-47?

Those idiots think a Browning shotgun looks like an AR.

I know, I was just passing info along.

All it takes is one idiot to think it is an AR for Prezzy to make a statement.

Also, anything black is assault according to the anti-gun crowd.

Mrs house has a little black assault dress. It's a very effective weapon.

even if it was an AR-15, that isn't an assault rifle because an assault rifle is select fire with a fully automatic option like an M-16. Not to mention that California has some of the toughest gun control laws in the entire country and the shooting was at an airport in a post 9/11 world where we are supposed to have all of this extra added security to make us all safer.

I haven't heard anything about a description of the shooter which usually means that the shooter doesn't fit the gun control narrative.

Probably a black man who only shot white people. Jesse Jackson will be along shortly to tell us its racist that they arrested him for only doing what his culture dictates that he should do.

On Fox News during the noon time they interviewed a "witness." His main observation was that TSA Officers were running away from the conflict just like he and everyone else was. He kept saying, "I thought TSA officers were armed. Why were they running away like everyone else?"

Who knows if that is an actual picture of the gun. Media will just grab a random picture of something just to say "first"

ANOTHER shooting in a strict gun control state and likely in a gun free zone?

Others are getting angrily political, including Patton Oswalt: "Let's see if the gun rights advocates can wait a decent interval before spouting their bullsh — oops, never mind. #LAX"

And so it begins. Now that this has effected several Hollywood celebrities and it happened in LAX I see celebrities getting behind the push for gun control.
