Well finally home, have the birds put away, gun cleaned, stuff stored for next weekend (opener here in LA), now time for reflection and some pictures....
[url=LINK ]

The first days' result. It was just unbelievable, we had thousands upon thousands of ducks landing on us, it was un nerving shooting the first day it was just overwhelming. Looks like very few ducks but it's actually our limit for three.

Day two sunrise over the honkers...

Results of the honker shoot..

Day Three... Cold, windy, snowing...and raining ducks.. A boy from Louisiana just couldn't pass up a lone pintail drake in with the mallards

Last Day's hunt tried to pick out the Green, cold and again just awesome..

Lastly a small video of birds working, can't figure out how to get the rest up to youtube from iphoto but have more if anyone can help with that.

Nice hoists but you seriously need to work on your presentation in front of a camera.

Well next time you come up and take the pictures in -5 degree temps. I'm pretty happy with them, if you don't like the way I smile tough shite.

Nice. Where in Canadia is this and did you have trouble bringing guns up? I know they're strict there.

Saskatchewan, and no problems bringing guns or shells. I brought both with me from the states. On a plane you are allowed 11 lbs of ammo (4 boxes) that was all I needed for 4 hunts they are that close when you shoot.

Very nice. Were you guided or free-lancing? friend and I are skipping Wy. next year and going to Canada. I am now searching for guides in Alberta or Sask. Any help would be appreciated as to recommendations from you or the OB. Thanks.

I love seeing a Golden out in the field hunting.

I hunted Nokomis, Saskatchewan back in '07 and it is something to behold. Looks like you all had a great trip.

I hunted/shot/ate Sandhills while there. Did you get in on any of that?
