First off really enjoyed the movie but me and the Mrs was wondering something. When Muse gets caught and goes to US prison, it says he is only going to serve 33 years. Most likely he will still be alive when released (assumption). What happens when he's released? Back to Somalia? Witness protection program? Also do you think he wanted to go to prison? Gotta be better than Somalia

I believe he will be deported.

I'd choose Somalia over prison.

Abuse by Somali warlords may equal abuse by other prisoners, and the guaranteed food and shelter in prison may put prison over the top. But I've never been to either so i don't really know.

Haven't seen it, but generally non-citizens face deportation upon release from prison. He'd be transferred from Bureau of Prisons to ICE custody.
