I totally agree that Bama is a better team but when you look at the matchups of units, there isn't a huge advantage to Bama.

LSU OL - Bama DL (give edge to LSU)
LSU DL - Bama OL (edge to Bama as of late, bama weak in early season)
LSU WR - Bama DBs (advantage LSU)
LSU DBS - Bama WRs (advantage Bama)
LSU RBS - Bama LBs (wash)
LSU LBs - Bama RBs (Bama)
Quarterbacks vs other teams defense - gotta give McCarron slight advantage
Special teams - Bama

Coaching -- say what you want but our coaching staff is every bit as strong as Bamas. Miles with Peveto, and other shitty offense coordinators over the years has managed to win 3 out of 7 w/ Saban when Saban arguable had more talent

I just don't see us being extremely over matched in this one.

Well for whatever reason Bama plays a whole lot better.

Wait shouldn't you be posting why everything sucks?

Good analysis and read.

Solid, but with this game, stats will be abandoned as they almost always are.

LSU OL - Alabama DL (slight edge to Alabama)
LSU DL - Alabama OL (Alabama)
LSU WR - Alabama DB (LSU)
LSU DB - Alabama WR (Alabama)
LSU RB - Alabama LB (slight edge to Alabama)
LSU LB - Alabama RB (huge, huge Alabama)
Quarterbacks - Alabama
Special Teams - push

So, I've got Alabama:6 LSU:1 Push:1

+1 from me

but this is wayyyyy wrong. Our DL couldn't even get pressure on much smaller OL of Furman so how will that change overnight? I just don't see it.

I think we have every edge basically and our defense has played very well all year I dont see them allowing Bama to score over 20 and our offense has been great as of late I think we should score about 35 on the best D in the country....am I doing this right?

Depth goes to Bama. Big time. That will be a bigger problem than any of those other factors.

And yeah, Saban is better. He just is, and he's loading up with better talent. Next year might be scary bad.

You gave Bama a 5.5-2.5 advantage in your own analysis. How is that not a big advantage to Bama?

As much as I hate to say this, Alabama beats us convincingly on 11/9 just as they did on 1/9.

Alabama 31-16

tell me how many games in Miles tenure have we lost by 15? Now tell me how many times Miles has beat Saban with less talent? Then tell me how many times Saban has beat us by more than double digit?

What I believe as a close score either way is realistic, what you believe as a 15+ loss is highly unrealistic and downright stupid as frick. I can understand if the no faith crowd says we lose, but anything beyond a 7 comes out their mouth and they're speaking impractical nonsense.

Looking at your recent backlogged posts, you hate Miles as a coach and you have an inferiority complex and obsession with Alabama

Looking a bit further at your season posts, you are too emotionally driven, after the Furman "win????" you were blaming Chavis as only good when he has talent which is stupid because what happens when you take away Saban's talent or anybody else's for that matter?

You were saying that TM7 was a baller all of his own and not coached yet you give no credit for the coaches finding Mathieu, Claiborne, Logan(who has two sacks on the season and will start this Sunday for the first time). Also that these 3*** were out of the box ready to tear up the SEC.

After Ole Miss you were talking about needing to pay players more like other schools do.

After Brazil's antics you say the players do bad things because they don't fear Miles but Saban players fear him. Not only is this unrealistic because it's dumb, it's unrealistic because it's false.

Saban has had multiple players take money and benefits under him. He has had multiple players who have beat up others. He has had multiple players who have robbed people with weapons. He has had multiple people who've failed drug tests. You are living in fairy land my friend.

Last but not least is that after Bama got CR you automatically believed the rest of the top 5 were leaving the state too. Somehow after a loss whether it be a player, recruit, or game, you lose all sense of reality.

You weren't even in football discussions prior to August, now you jump out and yell boo every time something bad happens.

LSU DBS - Bama WRs (advantage Bama)

I'm not so sure about this. I do not think Bama at WR is that strong. Although our secondary is young, they're talented. If the sons of beeches learn their jobs then I think we have the advantage here. I would not be surprised to see one of our young corners make some plays. Safety play is a different story, but if they can get some confidence early on then I truely think this aspect can win us a game against Bama.

LSU is capable of winning this game. if bama exploits our defensive weaknesses successfully we will need to score a lot of points. our D matches up better with bama than with ole miss.

if mett stays determined to throw to obj no matter what he will throw several picks and we are screwed.

on the positive side, we sliced 'em up last year and our O is better so we just might score a lot of points. my hope and prayer is that our D is not left to win the game with a coupla minutes left. chavis is very predictable in that situation and bama most definately knows his tendencies. the pass to the rb has never quite been figured out by our lb's.

As per usual, LSU is the beast on Bama's schedule. Anyone that says that LSU is not the most feared and respected team by our coaches and players is looney. With all the shite that is slung here, Bama fans loose more sleep and worry more about beating LSU than any other team and this year is no different.

Good luck Tigers.
