I honestly think our d-line rotation has been excellent. Don't really see the need

Where did he play college ball? That's the only way to know if he's any good or not.

Yes, it's pretty easy to tell where Ingram played based on the NFL success of most players from his school.

Moscona talked about this on the way home today. Veteran that we can bring in dirt cheap, possibly looking to make a statement to extend his career a couple of seasons. It's not the worst decision the Saints could make.

He got beat out by someone being elevated from the Raven's practice squad...THought that's what i heard, cannot confirm. However, if that's the case, don't really think he needs to be brought in.

We started a rule that ya have to make a case for a player before asking should we.
quote:

Don't really know how he was doing but I thought it was going better

Does not qualify

Rotoworld assessment when he was signed in the spring- Earlier Friday, the Ravens were said to have "serious" interest in Spears. They made the deal happen with the Cowboys' castoff. Spears, 30, has zero pass-rush ability, but can hold his own against the run. He'll be a backup in Baltimore.

Upon release- Spears struggled with a knee injury and got outplayed by Brandon Williams. The 30-year-old run plugger finishes with 10 tackles and no sacks in five games.

Balt. Sun story on their release- “The message is ‘Win,’ plan and simple,” said Canty, who was also a teammate of Spears with the Dallas Cowboys. “If you don’t get your job done, they’re going to find somebody else that can get it done. And in the case of Michael and Marcus, they felt like it was in the best interest of the team to move forward. Whether you agree or disagree with it doesn’t really matter. It’s their decisions to make and you have to move forward with that and go about the business of getting our job done on the field, which is winning football games.”

Part of making a case why we should for any player also is this: Who are ya gonna cut to bring Spears? Tyrunn Walker? Tom Johnson? Glenn Foster? I keep them all over him.
