If it helps, I know for a fact that his wife was in Texas a couple days ago. No idea why but I figured I'd just drop that here.

First that would be great if it were true but unless you heard it from Saban's mouth directly, I don't think you can put any stock in what year have heard. Second it is a kind of crappy posting if you are just stating that because that is what you feel. If you have something you have heard, you don't have to name sources but details would be a better way to allow people to converse on the topic.

Just in case you have not heard, Texas is a very big state. If you know for a fact, what city in Texas?

"I guess I have to say it," Saban said. "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach."

quote:

"He told us a couple weeks ago that he's proud to be a Dolphin and he's going to be sticking around," Dolphins quarterback Joey Harrington said. "So I take him at his word. I've taken him at his word ever since I came here. He's one of the reasons why I decided to come to Miami. And so, if he tells us he's going to say, I trust him. But on the other hand, there's a lot of job offers out there and he's a tremendous coach."

This rumor has been floating around for a few weeks. Doesn't mean it's wrong, but I haven't seen any substantiation.

Hopefully they hire Les Miles so he can ruin their program.

I dont care if its just a rumor, i hope this gets and STAYS huge. I dont care if it happens, anything that can help in keeping the boys home in recruiting. And if its out in the public all this about Saban, every bit helps.
