@AdamSchefter: Seattle making 11th-hour push to trade for Vikings Pro-Bowl DE Jared Allen, per multiple sources. Vikings also talking to second team.

Gonna be the first team to start a pass rusher at all 11 spots on defense.

@AdamSchefter: And @Mortreport says the Vikings are asking a second-round pick for Jared Allen but would consider a conditional third-round pick.

We have the O-Line guys coming back in a couple of weeks. Thank God.

This Jared Allen one is a head scratcher though. If there was anyone I thought that we had an outside chance at going after I would think it would be Josh Gordon.

What's up with the big free agent trades in the NFL this season?

At least it seems that way to me.

Is it a product of the change in the rookie wage scale?

Apparently the 49ers and Broncos are "interested" as well. Probably just driving up the price of him. I don't see him in Seattle at all.

Would love it.

That dude would be a folk hero here by the end of the year.

Also, we could have a "beer meeting" with LSU480 and Jared to mend fences.

That might be a bump in the road

I'm sure that was just pre-game trash talk.

I'll send him an email and get his real thoughts...

He said the only places he carries a gun around in the US is in Detroit and NOLA. Think he said it before the playoff game a few years ago.

If the Denver Broncos could land him, and send him out there in rotation with Von Miller, Derek Wolfe, Shaun Phillips and Robert Ayers, look out. We could use another guy from a pass rush standpoint, and he would definitely start.
